The Golf Course Beverage Cart & Plaza Server provides an outstanding customer experience for members and guests by selling food and beverage products on the course. They are responsible for efficient service while keeping the cart stocked and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth running day-to-day operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist golfers with food and/or beverage orders.
  • Stock beverage carts with inventory from cooler, sandwiches from the Thistle and other goods.
  • Make change and process room charges and credit card charges according to procedures.
  • Verify inventory of merchandise to the inventory count sheet at the beginning of shift.
  • Verify and balances the actual ending inventory quantities against the inventory count sheet and the created POS ticket.
  • Turn in appropriate paperwork with bank to Accounting at end of shift.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, to include Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness of Beverage Cart.
  • Attend monthly department meetings.
  • Assist, as needed, in other Food and Beverage areas on or near the golf course, such as Beverage Carts and the Ridge Turn.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications

Competencies:
  • TIPS/TAMS & ServSafe training required. May be obtained after employment.
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to maximize use of time and resources.
  • Dependable and meets goals.
  • Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
Education:
  • High School diploma or Equivalent
Physical & Other Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
