The DT Infrastructure Team is looking for a highly motivated candidate who will be responsible for managing all aspects of infrastructure supporting the Collins Aerospace Teamcenter PLM environment. This role will work closely with Digital Technology PLM Architects, Business Analysts, other infrastructure disciplines, as well as key vendor resources to ensure application stability, maintainability, up-time SLAs, and disaster recovery expectations are met. In addition, this position is responsible for aligning infrastructure capacity with projected organic as well as project driven application utilization increases.

This position can be located remotely in any domestic US Based location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage performance, stability, and redundancy within the Collins PLM system infrastructure components
  • Model and pursue continuous improvement processes with team and vendors to deliver high quality service
  • Collaborate with PLM Application SMEs to drive system capabilities that ensure efficient performance and sufficient capacity.
  • Propose PLM infrastructure system solutions that improve reliability, scalability, cost, and maintainability and where appropriate, plan and execute solution activities.
  • Lead system troubleshooting by utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills, drives root cause analysis, and ensures implementation of associated corrective actions.
  • Drive adoption of IAAS and SAAS capabilities and maintain insight into industry standards and trends.
  • Maintain strong working relationship with coworkers, vendor contacts and Collins cross-team staff
  • Communicate complex topics with clarity and the appropriate level of detail for audiences ranging from technical SME’s to DT and Engineering leadership.
  • Ensures regular reporting to management regarding performance and service levels of infrastructure systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience leading IT staff either directly or in a matrixed environment
  • 8 or more years’ experience Infrastructure systems administration, and / or architecture including network, server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux)
  • Knowledge of PLM applications and architecture, (Teamcenter, Enovia, and/or other related PLM applications)
  • Knowledge of System Performance monitoring tools, processes, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present concepts and strategies clearly.
  • Strong Analytical thinking, strategic leadership, customer focus, and innovation skills
  • Less than 10% travel will be required

The salary range for this role is $89,000.00 to $189,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
