JOB TITLE:
Library Aide, WIHR Shelving, WHIR Office, Cooper House
JOB PURPOSE:
Work in a pleasant environment at the historical Cooper House. Shifts are scheduled around classes and other obligations flexible scheduling and time off.
Perform shelving duties: Sort, label and shelve library materials used in the library and maintain the appearance of the shelving stacks. Unload boxed library materials and shift the location of materials as needed. Participate in inventorying the library collection. Perform other tasks as determined by manager.
Shelving hours of operation are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shelve materials and stacks creation and maintenance at Cooper House.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an excellent attention to detail and proven accuracy ordering decimals, numbers, and letters.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Physically capable of moving large number of boxes weighing 25lbs to 75lbs and dealing with dust, dirt, and other potential allergens.
