If you are a person who loves young children and enjoys passing on knowledge to educate them, come and work with us! As a Preschool Educator, you will be working in a team-teaching environment, with a classroom of 16 preschoolers and three teachers (two co-teachers). Additional assistance within the classroom offered by Lasell University teacher assistants and work-study students. Our teaching philosophy focuses on Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Children range in age from 2.9 years- 5 years old. The position is located at Lasell University in Newton, MA.
Qualifications:
MUST hold a BA or BS in Early Childhood Education or related field as well as MA EEC PRESCHOOL TEACHER certification. Must have experience working preschool age and supervising others.
