Summary of Primary Functions
:
Dobbs Equipment is seeking a detail oriented and efficient Pricing Manager. This position will be responsible for pricing multiple unit equipment sale and lease packages.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Complete understanding and management of pricing bulletins
  • Review OEM discounts and margins for accuracy and profitability.
  • Build relationships with lenders to obtain best products and interest rates
  • Ensure proper & timely documentation is received on all deals.
  • Ongoing portfolio monitoring and servicing activities in conjunction with Shared Services support.
  • Works directly with branch sales representative and customer to collect customer and deal information.
  • Secure and finalize transactions in a legal and ethical manner while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Ensure all contract and applicant information is accurately verified and entered.
  • Complete monthly branch reports as needed by management.
  • Communicate to management, sales representatives and customers for any information needed to verify/accomplish an approved deal.
  • Follow up of accepted deals in progress to verify proper funding is received based on agreed to terms.
  • Monthly reporting to Management of deals in progress and status of funding for completed deals.

Qualification: The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and operation
  • Management experience


Education, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements
:

  • 4-year degree in related field is preferred.
  • Previous equipment pricing experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with teammates and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to self-manage/self-motivate.
  • PC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Quick learner with the ability to think out of the box.
  • Positive attitude, good organizations skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships, both internally and externally, and holding teammates and customers accountable.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
