Risk Services a Leavitt affiliate is looking for a private client account manager for their busy office. In this position you will be responsible for the following.

This position will provide support to the customer and internal sales staff on all Private Client Insurance business. Sales support will consist of developing new accounts, quoting new business coverages, maintaining existing accounts, cross-selling existing accounts, and forwarding submission packages to the appropriate carrier. Customer service will consist of discussing coverages, recommending coverages, requesting and making policy changes, taking claims information, verifying account information, answering customers’ questions, and generating the appropriate documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately maintain all customer information in the computer system (AMS360).
• Know the various company products, underwriting requirements, binding authority, policy forms, rating software programs (upload & download), and competitiveness in the marketplace.
• Service all existing personal lines accounts by:

• Speaking with customers and company personnel on the phone or in person during office visits and responding to all written correspondence.
• Answering coverage questions, recommending coverages, processing policy change information, taking claim information, collecting premiums, submitting the proper documents to the company, and verifying that documents received from company are correct.
• Issuing the proper insurance verification documents to the insured (auto id, certificates, etc.).
• Resolving customer problems & complaints (with assistance/direction from manager as needed).
• Following up on policies that cancel.
• Assisting with the collection of premiums and reconciliation of accounts as needed

EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS

Active Property & Casualty license

5 + years of agency experience

AMS 360 experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills
