Job Description
A private couple seeks to hire an experienced part-time server to support formal dinner service or special events. The ideal candidate will have excellent longevity in previous positions and must have excellent experience in formal white glove service. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Formal table service
- Properly setting up dinnerware and silverware on the table
- Setting up cups on the table for dinners
- Help with preparing drinks and serving drinks for principals or guests
- Coordinate with a Private Chef to assist with proper timely meal service as food is prepared
- Bartending skills are a plus
- Help with carrying food out from the kitchen to the dining room
- Assist with serving Hors d’oeuvre during special events
- Sanitation and organization of the kitchen, and dining area including post-event clean up
- Coordinating with additional household staff to meet the principal's needs
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related experience as a high-end restaurant server or banquet server
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers
- A superb command of the English language, both written and oral
- Energetic, creative, and versatile
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Professional, polished and poised
- Utmost sense of discretion and professionalism
- Valid US work authorization
- Must follow all covid-19 recommendations by the CDC
