The Position: Rare opportunity to join our team as a Process Control Manager in our Steel Mill!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop melt profiles for chemical and electrical energy
  • Coordinate outages with utilities and gas suppliers
  • Monitor and analyze daily data regarding electrical and chemical energy efficiencies
  • Write programs for programmable logic controller, man-machine interfaces, and personal computers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with process control system at Liberty
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that will make steel manufacturing process more efficient
  • Supervises one Process Control Systems Engineer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university
  • Three years related experience and/or training; will consider comparable work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proficient in AutoCad
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC 500, RSLogix 5000 plc programming
  • Proficient in Wonderware HMI programming
  • Proficient in using personal computers and Microsoft software for analyzing, reporting, recommending, an developing strategies on how to improve safety, quality, costs, and productivity

PAY RANGE: $115,000-$120,000
