TSMC Arizona's Manufacturing Department is responsible for monitoring wafer manufacturing process, process analysis, and collaborative solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Work onsite in a office-based remote operations environment on 12-hour shifts in a 3-day or 4-day work week.
  • Similar to a command center, or a cubicle office setting, with several monitors to view the applications.
  • Utilize 25 software manufacturing applications to move product in our cleanroom manufacturing processes
  • Utilize technical aptitude, process analysis, issue escalation, monitor processing times, and work in collaborative team environment
  • We are an automated process that utilizes our training, SOP procedures, and structured workflows
  • Learn the chip manufacturing process and stay informed of procedural changes.
  • Monitor integrated systems in the control booth to ensure proper functioning of automated tools.
  • Assist in executing department daily functions, including data collection & analysis.
  • In charge of tool stability monitoring and partnering with supporting modules to bring unstable processes back to baseline.
  • Training for these positions take 6-9 months to learn which include OJT, SOP, Shadowing, Video Training, and Trainer led lessons
  • Manufacturing modules include Etch, YED, CVD, EPI, CMP, DIffusion, Lithography/Photo, Wet Etch, Dry Etch, and Metrology



Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • Fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often sitting for long periods.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • AAS Degree, or Technical Certificate preferred, but not required.
  • 5 to 25 years of experience of working in a team environment with a common goal.
  • Some work experience and/or experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but not required.
