Product and Agile Leader

As a Product and Agile Leader (PAL), you will be responsible for the education, adoption, and scale of Agile within our client’s product teams. Your strong communication and facilitation skills will allow you to mentor technology leaders and their teams.

In this position you will provide direction and expertise to drive new product development for client applications by understanding business problems and opportunities and translating necessary requirements into viable solutions. You will contribute to the product strategic vision, development roadmaps, and take an active role in driving the entire development lifecycle from conception to launch.

You will engage in a variety of different types of consulting projects ranging from the formulation and analysis of business processes, and organizational strategies through the implementation of recommendations and PMO establishment.

A Day in the Life of a PAL
As part of the Product Development & Delivery Team, you will provide guidance and offer unique perspectives that transform our clients into product centric organizations. You will:
  • Facilitate Product Management and Agile Delivery training sessions with small and large audiences; coach Release Train Engineers, Product Management, leaders at the program level, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and other team leads on their respective functions within Agile teams
  • Guide teams through Agile discovery and learning, provide general and role-based training, and helps discover and solve impediments within the product team
  • Coach executive level team members and lead Organizational Change Management Efforts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to establish consistent metrics and KPIs for measuring progress and effectiveness at the team, product, and organizational levels
  • Design solutions and plan product roadmaps
  • Asses agile maturity of teams and recommend and implement process improvements
  • Promote lean thinking principles such as reduced cycle times, limiting work in progress, reduced batch size, understanding of flow, identification of waste/inefficiencies and leading remediation efforts.
  • Develop enterprise Agile guidance, training materials, and content; translates industry best practices into actionable recommendations.
  • Exhibit strong presentation and facilitation skills, coaching and mentorship experience
  • Possess substantial experience with delivery methodologies in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in B2B, B2C, or B2E software product management, sales or marketing role in a complex business environment
  • Demonstrated success charting strategic product direction, defining user experience, defining and writing requirements, documenting features, leading development teams
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, cross-functional resources and business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage delivery of custom development projects based on business requirements
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills across all levels
  • Understanding of technology delivery methodologies
  • Partnership and collaboration with Product and Agile Delivery teams
  • Strong inclination for action and self-direction
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
