Job Purpose

Responsible for providing pre-shipment testing data/reports to Lab Manager and Product Manager as well as distribution to sales/field. Works extremely close with STR QC Dept. developing standard documentation and communication with field and landscape customer service and claims departments. Focus of Quality Control for this position is the communication with Sales/Field. QC Manager at STR provides quality concerns/alerts, this position is responsible for communicating that data to the Director of Product Management as well as and as important, to the field/sales (written documentation – QC Form to be filled out and data recorded/stored).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and manage product SKU for specified business unit Work with sales/ marketing on SKU development
• Monitor success and review with Product Line Director
• Manage pre-shipment testing (when applicable) and communicate results Communicate requested Information in a timely manner
• Provide guidance on any non-standard/ MTO/ custom requests Review and develop with Product Director and R&D Manager
• Provide specification and testing information as needed to the business unit
• Work as liaison between Sales/ Manufacturing via close communication with Planning Help with forecasting in specific business areas
• Coordinate testing and approval criteria on new products (turf, sundries, etc...) with R&D, Performance Lab

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS diploma/GED required
• Experience: Manufacturing and artificial turf sales markets. Understanding of product components and Product Quality
• Courses/Certifications/Training: Extremely high commitment, team and communication skills,
  MS-Office, thorough product understanding on both landscape & athletic fields, complete manufacturing understanding of synthetic turf, synthetic turf market understanding and quality control understanding
