Production Analyst Job at Ingersoll Rand
The PLM Lead Analyst will support the Ingersoll Rand Enterprise PLM program and associated projects. The goal of the Enterprise PLM is to deploy Windchill globally with technology and tools that will deliver profitable growth, at greater than market rates, across the company. Key responsibilities will include supporting strategic vision and direction around technologies that enable Engineering, Manufacturing and other functions such as Supply Management etc. This role will contribute, support and participate in the ongoing definition, development and implementation of best practices for deployment and maintenance of various modules of PTC’s Windchill along with other engineering applications supporting technical publications such as InService, ArborText and IsoDraw/Illustrate. The successful candidate will work closely with the Enterprise PLM team, champions in each SBU and other IT delivery teams to deliver sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the strategy and vision of Enterprise PLM team on solution design, development and configuration.
- Collaborate with business functions and other IT teams on the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of PLM capabilities.
- Help with requirements gathering with business customer for Windchill Implementation projects.
- Contribute and provide technical guidance to development teams on application development and integrations with upstream (CAD) and downstream (ERPs) systems & applications.
- Ensure ownership and accountability to effectively resolve gaps to completion.
- Lead and support initiatives to minimize support cost and accelerate the delivery of value-added functionality.
- Work proactively to remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities.
- Assess new tools and software, perform POCs, and offer recommendations to optimize the Enterprise PLM ecosystem.
- Responsible for designing & developing scalable, reusable and robust solution frameworks.
- Demonstrate technical leadership by guiding the team in critical/challenging technical issues.
Skills required:
- 6+ years of Windchill implementation/customization experience
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Solid proven background across all phases of a Solution Delivery
- Strong understanding of Windchill system architecture and Implementation experience
- Good understanding of Industrial manufacturing development business processes
- Experience with Windchill PDMLink/MPMLink Customization and Configuration, Windchill DB Schema
- Experience with setting up custom objects and attributes in Windchill PDMLinkModel Custom Objects
Create / Edit Wizard Development
Lifecycle & Access Control
- Experience with setting up Workflow Configuration for release process
- Experience with Windchill Publishing data from to InServiceConfigure SIS Worker
InService Publish Setup - Rules / Bundles /Mapping
- Experience with Service Parts / Service Information Manager Module
- Experience with Service Information Module in WindchillSetup Product Hierarchy
- Experience with CAD Data Management in Windchill with different CAD software’s like Creo, AutoCAD is preferable
- Hands-on experience with Angular JS, Java/J2EE, Restful/SOAP Web services, XML, XSD, XSLT
- Hands-on experience in the development of JSPs, Servlets and MVC frame work
- Proficient in OOPS concepts and programming
- Have the good knowledge of Unix scripting
- Certifications in JAVA/J2EE is preferred
- Certified with Windchill skills is preferred
- Experience with Windchill Bulk Migrator is a plus
- Experience working with large scale enterprise, matrix organization with Front/Back Office.
- Experience in understanding business problems and translate to technical requirements and scope in terms of implementation
- Articulate solution ideas with absolute clarity, good communication and presentation skills
- Experience with redesign existing systems to improve operational/business efficiency
- Ability to participate and provide guidance in technical review sessions for critical projects
- Strong functional knowledge in PLM domain in relation to Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Aftermarket Service functions
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate how business functionality can be mapped to “out of the box” functionality and potential places for customization.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issues.
- Creativity & Critical thinking skills applied through strong technical and business acumen.
- Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
