At US Farathane we design and manufacture highly engineered plastic fabricated products. We are currently hiring entry level and experience machine operators on all shifts at our Orion, MI location. Full time opportunities are available.

We’re hiring for all shifts, full time positions, only:

1st shift is 6:30am - 2:30pm

2nd shift is 2:30pm - 10:30pm

3rd shift is 10:30pm - 6:30am

Schedule: Monday-Friday with overtime available. (Overtime and weekends may be required)

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate molding press/equipment per Company procedures
• Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances
• Correctly record scrap per work instructions
• Correct application of all internal and external labels when required, including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging
• Correct application of lot control numbers
• Daily review all applicable quality alerts
• Immediately notify Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Participate in team problem solving activities
• Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Other job duties / functions may be assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
