Production Associate - Weekly Pay

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Frankfort, KY within the Manufacturing industry.

Production Associate - Weekly Pay Job Summary:

· 1st & 2nd shift: $15.40

3rd shift: $15.85

· 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

3rd shift: 11: 00 PM – 7:30 AM

· Assemble parts according to design specifications.

· Adhere to production work instructions to maintain high standards of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability, and safety.

· Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

· Support continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing processes.

· Implement manufacturing methods and techniques, such as Lean, Kanban, 5S, Poke-Yoke, and support the waste reduction efforts in manufacturing area.

· Familiarity with the Japanese business work environment and the ability to work in a global, multi-tasked, multi-cultural environment is preferred.

· Two to three years’ experience in automotive industry preferred.

· Must be willing to be cross-functional and take part in job rotations.

Production Associate - Weekly Pay Qualifications:

· Minimum of a HS GED or proof of ability to read and do basic math.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.

· Prior automotive industry experience in a JIT environment is preferred.

· Experience in a lean manufacturing environment or knowledge of the TPS is also a plus.

· Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls: Frequently

· Climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel: Occasionally

· Lift and/or move and/or carry up to 25 pounds: Frequently

· Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
