Background & Purpose of the Job
As the Processing Cell Leader, you will lead and be accountable for all operations of the Jonesboro Processing Cell made up of 70+ team members. The role will play a key part in setting both short-term and long-term strategy to drive key results in Safety, Quality, Output and Cost.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
- Drive the Unilever safety systems/culture on the factory floor ensuring compliance to all regulatory, plant safety rules and other programs such as LOTO and risk assessments.
- Drive compliance to quality standards through training, educating teams on the floor as per the standard
- Develop the leadership and business acumen of the Processing Leads
- Drive productivity through execution of factory operating systems in all areas, ensuring resources are directed as per the business priorities/urgency
- Drive PM activity in partnership with the Manufacturing Manager
- Manage Raw material inventory accuracy and accountability
- Partner with Engineering and Strategic planning to ensure the effective role out of projects innovations and capacity modeling
- Tracks performance indicators such as Batch Cycle Time (BCT), Pounds per labor hour, Tank utilization, Weighs per hour, etc.
- Builds capabilities in teams through engagement and ensuring hiring, training and communication is always in place.
- Shares consistent and on time feedback to the teams, ensures the performance, attendance standards are always met.
- Shares and builds development plans for employees when performance gaps are identified through regular performance reviews
- Fosters a culture of positive employee relations, builds capability, recognizes gaps, and acts to help resolve those gaps
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 to 10 years of factory leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills and passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability clearly articulate and analyze complex operational details.
- Strong leadership skill, ability to share clear, consistent, accountable, and actionable feedback.

Work Level 1C:
Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
