We are hosting an onsite Job Fair to hire 1st & 2nd shift Production Coordinators/Assemblers on February 15th from 11am - 4pm. Please bring your resume to the event. Must be able to work 1st or 2nd schedule with mandatory overtime, we look forward to seeing you Wednesday, February 15th.

Schedule Needed to Fill:

  • 1st shift Production: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm
  • 2nd shift Production: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • **PLUS mandatory overtime during the week and on Saturday's for ALL shifts. **

Compensation:

  • 1st shift is $16.00/hr
  • 2nd shift is $16.00/hr + 8% shift differential

Job Summary

This position will encompass all aspects of picking and pulling components. This position works under general supervision and uses written work instructions. This position will include a wide variety of responsibilities to include maintaining cleanliness in designated buildings and grounds areas, performing in all areas required to ensure required building maintenance. The person in this position must be capable of handling multiple tasks in a high stress environment and meeting job requirements within requested time frames, while working under direct supervision or utilizing written or verbal instructions and processes provided for guidance.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR/ASSEMBLER

Core Responsibilities

Assembly and Wrapping

  • Accurately assemble custom procedure trays by learning to identify medical components by description and vendor item number.
  • Follow assembly instructions and place the correct component and quantity (using the counting method) into the tray.
  • Visually inspect components for defects; verify conformance to specifications and report and/or reject defective components, informing the team leader per guidelines.
  • Complete prep assemblies within a custom procedure tray; identify the right wrap for the build and proceed to wrap the tray per customer’s specified sterile technique.

Set up

  • Ensure communication occurs between the Team Leader and set-up person before the job is set-up so special instructions can be provided as needed.
  • Ensure three job orders are ready for the line at all times, when applicable.
  • Verify contents of Device History Record to include: assembly instructions; pick ticket; kit insert labels; expiration dates of product; and special notes pertaining to particular builds and box labels.
  • Make copies of assembly instructions.
  • Verify vendor ID and description of all components (if applicable) when arranging them sequentially on the carts.
  • Verify at least one product is batch counted on cart. Remove outer packaging from product when necessary.

Sealing

  • Ensure the sealing machine is properly calibrated and the temperature, speed, and pressure are at the correct settings.
  • Check for the correct header bag and proper insert label.
  • Seal the package to the proper specifications.
  • Complete necessary paperwork.

Packaging Operator

  • Properly loads and packages product on the machine, as assigned
  • Inspects components for visible defects during the load and packaging process.
  • Rotates loading positions, as required.
  • Assures adherence to SOP’s, GMP, & ISO policies.

Perfumes, makeup, nail polish, fake nails, false lashes, visible piercings, and jewelry

Qualifying Experience*

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 3-6 months packaging/boxing experience in a production/warehouse environment preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail
