We are seeking a professional like you to join our team as a Production Execution Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for timely production of quality in a safe, cost-efficient and environmentally responsible manner by coordinating, planning and setting the direction of the production team. This will be done with strong leadership and a good understanding of the process and related technologies. Your strong organization and communications skills will be used to communicate and focus the shift(s) and support teams on the goals and targets established to coordinate and execute production and maintenance activities.

You will work closely with an Operations Manager who is responsible for planning, budgeting, and driving strategic continuous improvement activities (Capital Reliability, OpEx) for the department.

• Leveraging your strong communication and organizational skills to communicate and focus the 24hr operational shifts and support teams on the goals and targets established to coordinate and execute production, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

• Using your passion for excellence to drive continuous improvement in day-to-day operations and ensure production processes comply with all applicable requirements.

• Partnering with the unit’s Production Engineers to develop operating plans and daily instructions for the front-line team.

• Working closely with the Operations Manager who is responsible for planning, budgeting, and driving strategic continuous improvement activities (Capital, Reliability, OpEx) for the department.

• As a role model, you will coach, develop, motivate, remove barriers for, and challenge team members in support of a high-performance organization and to comply with BASF’s corporate values of Creative, Open, Responsible, and Entrepreneurial behavior.

Your unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety are critical as you will be accountable for daily environmental and safety compliance. You will implement the incident investigation process including investigation, root cause analysis, action items, documentation, and follow-up for incidents.

• Leveraging your educational background and experience within a production/chemical manufacturing environment, you will be accountable for all aspects of production in accordance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.

Applying your strong leadership ability, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive EHS, LEAN manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities for the benefit of the Dicamba plant and Hannibal site.

• Your proven ability to drive change and develop, implement, and manage sustainable programs will serve you well as you champion innovative ideas to foster timeliness of product manufacturing to meet production demand, product quality, and cost constraints.

• Your strong technical skills and ability to solve complex problems will be a valued asset as you provide technical and administrative guidance to operations, maintenance, and other areas of the business in support of the production plan.

• Demonstrating your strong supervisory ability, you will prepare and implement succession plans, participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selection of employees and conduct performance management reviews.

• Embracing technology and future digitization efforts, you will utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Teams daily to communicate and share information with your team and colleagues
