What You'll Do:

• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
• Assist in the development and execution of the manufacturing plan.
• Responsible for manufacturing KPI’s and ensuring accountability.
• Responsible for Improving operational processes by using best practices and techniques.
• Participates in the hiring selection, promotion of staff, salary change considerations, disciplinary matters and conducts performance reviews.
• Lead by engaging and mentoring employees, while maintaining a safe, healthy and fair work environment.
• Promote a culture of safety by leading by example to ensure all personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with all safety regulations.
• Responsible for adherence to and the continuing improvement within our Quality Management System.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, Logistics or related field, strongly preferred
• Eight or more years of experience in an operations, planning or maintenance role required; managerial experience strongly preferred.
• Sales and Operations including supply and demand management preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience in wood products, feed or food manufacturing, a plus.
• Solid proven leadership, with excellent self-awareness and relationship building skills.
• Strong written and oral skills.
• Must be adept at change management.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
