Staffing Inc. is partnered with a growing company in South Haven, MI who is looking to hire qualified Operations Associate Employee working in the Shipping Long Box Department who is ready to start ASAP. The company is a proud supplier of tarp systems for dump trucks, trailers, complete tarp systems, replacement parts, and heavy-duty tarps. The employees are trained to use tools and equipment for bending, and drilling parts to fit the specifications of products. In addition, they may assist within needs in other departments to ensure products are produced and shipped on time.

Operations Shipping Associate Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Setting up, operating and tending drill press machine.
• Package daily orders; preparing necessary paperwork and records.
• Assemble components for shipping and stock including pull-style systems, and adjustable tarp axles.
• Create custom pieces for special orders.
• Measure, weigh, and package orders; ensure proper paperwork is included in package.
• Read detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.
• Assist in other areas of operations as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Conduct quality control checks; notifying the leads and supervisor of concerns.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Production/Assembly Associate Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, perform simple arithmetic, and measure accurately.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production and documentation.
• Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to route and distribute materials.
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate channels.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Bend and twist
• Flexible to learn and move to different jobs
• Great attendance and positive attitude
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
