· Uso de pistola de código de barras para recolección / muestreo de materia prima y seguimiento de la producción para pesar y alimentar las materias primas en la maquinaria de producción.

· Operación de equipos de línea de producción (cabina de pesaje, horno, batidora, etiquetadora, flejadora, túnel retráctil y más).

· Montaje / embalaje de artículos terminados. Informar fallas de equipos al supervisor de producción.

· Realizar pruebas básicas y controles de calidad, y notificar al supervisor de producción cualquier hallazgo inusual.

· Conducir carretilla elevadora para mover materiales y almacenar mercancías y materias primas en el área de producción o almacén.

· Limpieza y mantenimiento de áreas de trabajo y maquinaria.

Requerimientos

Es deseable tener experiencia previa en un puesto similar.
Se prefiere la licencia de montacargas, pero no es esencial.

· Debe poder usar el equipo de protección personal requerido donde esté designado y trabajar de manera segura en todo momento.

Belzona Global, an established leader in industrial protective coatings and repair composites, is looking for a highly motivated and responsible Production Operative to join its team in Miami Lakes location. The primary duties and responsibilities of the Production Operative are:

· Using barcode gun for raw material picking/sampling and follow production to weight and feed raw materials into production machinery.

· Operating production line equipment (weighing booth, oven, mixer, labelling machine, strapping machine, shrink tunnel and more).

· Assembling/packing finished items.

· Reporting equipment faults to Production Supervisor.

· Carrying out basic testing and quality checks and notifying Production Supervisor with any unusual findings.

· Driving forklift to move materials and storing goods and raw materials in the production area or warehouse.

· Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery.

Requirements

Prior experience in a similar position is desirable.

Forklift License is preferred but not essential.

Safety Requirements:

· Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated and work safely at all times.

· Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, gripping, pushing, pulling, and standing long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to fully understand all company and work site safety requirements, rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, and documented health and safety requirements.

Working Environment:

Working in a climate-controlled warehouse production environment.
