Johns Manville, Milan Ohio is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Production Operator. The job requires that the employee be able to work safely and follow safety rules. JM Milan is a 24/7/365 operation. Candidates MUST be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays on a 3-day on 3-days off rotating schedule. Employees must be dependable, able to follow instructions and directions according to established operating procedures, performs the following duties while cooperating with all levels within the organization in support of the four Johns Manville core values: People, Passion, Perform and Protect.

Your Day to Day:

  • Operate production equipment in department
  • Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface)
  • Data entry into SAP
  • Follow department SOPs/JSAs
  • Maintain 5S/Good Housekeeping standards
  • Operate overhead cranes/hoists
  • Operate forklift
  • Operate floor scrubbing equipment
  • Demonstrate ownership over quality standards and procedures
  • Complete safety requirements as assigned

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be available to work any shift (days/nights), including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on cement floors
  • Must be able to push/ pull and grip rubber sheets
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel and climb ladders and staircases
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
  • Flexible in work and assignments
