We are looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team in Columbus, GA.

The Duties of this position are as follows:
  • Plan restocking of Bulk chemical inventory on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Planning and order entry for all coating chemicals to support production volumes as determined by the D&OP.
  • Planning and order entry for Finishing components according to lead time, MOQ and usage rate.
  • Order expensed chemicals as and when required.
  • Monitor Inventories to service production, control costs, ensure quality and service, while maximizing Inventory turns to achieve month-end targets.
  • Provide vendors with forecasted volumes for up to rolling 18 months
  • Coordinate with OHA to take any residual components due to EOL or source of supply changes.
  • Run and maintain various daily/weekly/monthly reports. Analyze data as required.
  • Communicate priorities and provide updates across different levels of organization
  • Identify and maintain appropriate lead times, stocking frequency and associated data for both Finished Goods as well as raw materials.
  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Master Recipes.
  • Create and maintain Finished Goods/Semi Finished Goods Master data.
  • Provide backup to other areas of supply chain as needed

In order to qualify for this position, applicants must possess the following critical competencies:
  • Knowledge of Production Planning concepts
  • Some college or Associates Degree preferred
  • Strong SAP skills
  • Excellent analytical, data manipulation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer, spreadsheet and systems skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of organization
