Production Planning Assoc - Action Stainless & Alloys Job at Olympic Steel
Production Planning Associate is responsible for maintaining order flow to warehouse, production, buyouts, outside processing and transfers. The Production Planner will prepare shipping documents, prepare receiving and billing packets for further processing. This is an active team player that collaborates with sales and operations and communicates any schedule changes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/steel environment strongly preferred.
- 1+ year of experience scheduling in a production setting a plus.
- 2 or 4-year degree in related field, or commensurate experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask; self-motivated to stay on top of deadlines.
- Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
