  • Planning, creating and releasing the daily production schedules based upon inventory levels, demand patterns, internal capacity, raw material availability and other factors affecting schedule attainment
  • Timely communication with Operations and the Fresh Sales (FS) team regarding schedule changes and their potential customer impact. Clarify any open questions regarding schedules or priorities directly with frontline production managers when necessary
  • Participate in daily meetings with Operations and the FS team to align on value attainment goals and resolve short term production limitations
  • Advise appropriate stakeholders when demand exceeds capacity and drive resolution
  • Act as Materials Management fresh pork SME, providing insight into possible raw material constraints and resolutions
  • Monitor and Maintain Scheduling Tools and parameters: functionality, lead times, lot sizes, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventories of Raw Material and Finished Goods
  • Root Cause Analysis on order fill, service level, schedule attainment and inventory issues
  • Participate in Company supported Initiatives
