Plastikon Healthcare is looking for a Production Supervisor ensuring the timely production of quality products meeting or exceed customer expectations. This position monitors the compliance with company policies and procedures, all S.O.Ps, work instructions, and GMPs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures department meets production and quality goals on a daily basis.
  • Identifies documents and shares departmental metrics for Productivity, Safety, Quality, Waste and other metrics required by the company.
  • Plans and schedules staffing to meet workload requirements and productivity standards, utilizing current company’s ERP system.
  • Manages employee performance by setting goals and consistently holding employees accountable for meeting performance standards.
  • Trains or ensures training is conducted in Safety, GMPs, Quality systems rules and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance to all company policies and procedures.
  • Functions well in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Makes sound operational decisions.
  • Understands the functions and capabilities of various departments and uses those resources effectively.
  • Support the company’s Safety programs and its initiatives
  • Analyzes root causes and solves problems effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Uses data to improve productivity.
  • Leads, motivates, and inspires individual workers and teams.
  • Manages conflict effectively.
  • Manages effectively through change and transition.
  • Owns issues and problems, seeing them through to resolution.
  • Identifies with and supports company leadership and supports company decisions.
  • Ensures that employees are cross-trained and given opportunities to continually learn new things.
  • Provides needed resources and support (technical, training, motivational).
  • Builds collaborative relationships within the organization.
  • Identifies and resolves potential safety problems; responds to safety audits.
  • Ensures all documentation/time sheets are legible and accurate; review and approve time & attendance
  • Addresses both internal and external corrective actions-departmental/personnel.
  • Maintains a clean work environment (5S).
  • Leads effective department meetings.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Requirements: BS or related degree, with 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing management, and 5+ years' in Medical Device and/or pharmaceutical production facilities in leading 50+ labor employees. Experience with systems and equipment related to Medical Device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing including production systems, Quality Systems, and ERP systems. Experience in ISO execution.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in leading 50+ direct labor employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
