Supervision of personnel and workload
Monitoring the manufacturing floor by talking with employees, reviewing work orders, and watching productivity
Monitoring workload by department/work cell to maximize effective utilization of workforce.
Identifying areas and people for cross training to provide for a flexible workforce that can move with the workload.
Identifying potential bottleneck areas and adjust the plan to prevent the interruption of the on-time delivery of work orders.
Supporting process execution and improvement to achieve monthly scrap goal
Meeting or exceed company goals for quality
Developing people through coaching, mentoring, training,
Practicing good housekeeping to maintain a clean and well organized manufacturing floor
*Communicating with QA department for training needs, policy adjustments, and rework instructions
Utilizing a team approach to process improvement and problem resolution
Excellent communication skills
Ability to effectively direct personnel
Good computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office and appropriate manufacturing software programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
