Production Supervisor:

We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our Adairsville, GA. Successful candidate will have the ability to manage, encourage, train, and bring out the best in his/her team. They will have the ability to maintain high standards for themselves and those they oversee as well as the operation. Candidate will also be able to communicate clearly and professionally with senior management, client and staff.

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the team performing assembly operations using various tools to meet quality requirements and customer demands. Assembly operations may include lifting, bolting, torquing, testing, and other tasks.

Job Functions:

• Ensure daily inspections are completed for forklifts, overhead cranes, tooling, and all other equipment before use in assembly.

• Perform specific duties in the assembly areas as assigned.

• Perform rework / remodel on units if/when needed.

• Check the quality of completed units and confirm they are equipped to customer’s requests and submit completed checklists.

• Drive completed units to staging or Final Inspection area.

• Complete kit function by packing parts into boxes and stacking boxes on pallet

• Operate tractors, forklift and other equipment as needed

• Perform and participate in Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing practices

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• Supervise, direct and train assembly team members

• Manage Time Tracking for team members

Critical Interfaces:

• Interact with client for setting priorities and measuring performance

• Interact with DNA leadership for recruiting, company mission and other assignments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work 8+ hours per day in a assembly facility setting.

• Must be able to navigate all areas of the building and facility as needed.

• May frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds. Must be aware of surroundings.

• Experience with hand tools.

• Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal

• Lifting requirements:

o < 20 pounds frequently

o 21 – 50 pounds often

o 50 – 70 pounds occasionally

Qualifications and qualities needed:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

• 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience

• Experience with Microsoft Office, email communication and management systems

• Assembly and production management (mechanical assembly preferred)

• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
