Job Summary

We are looking for team members who can live and breathe our company culture: “Success is in the details.”

Production Team Members are responsible for producing our products and ensuring that quality standards and productivity targets are met. The Production Team Members will work closely with the Production Manager to perform all production operations including making, cooking and packaging products,

This job will be located in King City, California at our newly constructed production facility and reports to the production manager

Responsibilities:

• Buy into the Boxer Six lifestyle brand and mission to elevate cannabis edibles and consumer experiences with innovative products and pure, natural ingredients
• Have fun doing #1!
• Communicate proactively with Production Team Members throughout all shifts and the ability to communicate, ask for help, and work as part of a larger team.
• The operation and preventative maintenance of the packaging line.
• Ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
• Ensuring all product weights and containers are accounted for.
• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
• Follow and comply with all established procedures, recipes and guides, including but not limited to assembly, equipment SOPs, weights and measures, health and sanitation, and general safe work practices.
• Meet production volume and production schedule while maintaining stringent adherence to quality and compliance standards for all Boxer Six products.
• Track product and assembly information in daily batch logs
• Compliance with and adherence to all appropriate health and safety regulations and cleanliness requirements, including food safety and department organization.
• Work with a sense of urgency and purpose to achieve daily, weekly and long-term goals.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager in accordance with the needs of the business
• Adhere to all new and existing company policies and standards. Work with flexibility, integrity and a solution-based mentality

Qualifications

• Be passionate about the cannabis industry with a strong interest in high quality products
• 1-3 years experience in a food production environment preferred
• Familiarity with SQF/BRC/GFSI/HACCP fundamentals preferred
• Understanding of food production methods, techniques, and standards
• Knowledge and skill with a variety of food manufacturing tools and equipment
• Knowledge and skill using Email and Internet based tools for documentation
• Able to work on feet for 8 hours
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Previous “hands on” machine operating experience.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Detail orientated with an eye on process improvement and optimization.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Efficient time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to build team relationships and embrace change
• Strong communication skills.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively verbally and in written form.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
