The Starkey Products team is a small, family-oriented group of folks who work hard to make quality electrical componentry for the automotive, marine, and heavy equipment industry. We take pride in our products, which are manufactured right here in Central Florida for over 12 years.

General Competencies:

· Be comfortable with repetitive work.

· Highly organized and strong communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Comfortable in manufacturing floor environment.

· Requires prolonged periods of sitting at workstation, walking and standing.

· Be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Technical Competencies:

· Gather all materials necessary for a production job (all connectors, wire, terminals, etc).

· Read and interpret detailed drawings, diagrams and work instructions to complete assemblies or subassemblies.

· Select, cut, and mark wires of specified color, marking, or length. Install terminals and contacts to ends of wires, insert or install into components, plugs, etc.

· Ability to use pre-configured machinery with limited guidance.

· Ability to use all hand tools and understand the basic function of each.

· Ability to solder not required but preferred.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in a Technical Field or with technical certifications a plus.

· 2-4 years of experience required in manufacturing floor setting as wire harness assembler.

Benefits:

· Competitive hourly pay from $17 per hour, 40 hours per week.

· Monday – Friday 8:30-5pm schedule. Weekends Off.

· All Major holidays off and paid (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Day).

· 100 hours PTO on accrual basis. Accrual begins immediately after start.
