Production Workers operate, assist, and support machine operations producing high quality products for customers. This involves operating continuous process equipment, packaging finished products, and shipping & receiving functions. Employees move from training to entry-level utility positions following successful completion of a 4–12-week paid training period based on experience and management discretion. What will you gain during your training period? OSHA and Forklift Certification!

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the machines and associated equipment, assisting in materials movement, labeling, and packaging, preparing materials for shipment, and other tasks as assigned by crew leaders to support production.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Work experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Computer skills and able to conduct work tasks on computer systems are preferred.
• Successful candidates will be team players with good communication skills, understanding of math and mechanical skills, safe working records, and the ability to work effectively with others.

Environment:

• Candidates must be able to perform typical physical aspects of the job, including standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), sitting, bending, reaching.
• Ability to use PPE as required to perform work safely
• Hearing, and Pulmonary Function testing required
• Position involves working in a manufacturing plant and warehouse environment.
• General knowledge of safe practices and safe performance of all duties, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper operation of fork trucks and attachments, ability to follow safe practices and guidelines and general safe conduct.

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
