This position requires flexible availability. Employee will be responsible for weekend on call duties. Sites are located in Bellevue and Bothell. From time to time the Program Coordinator will be required direct shifts. Must be comfortable working with male and female clients.

Employment Criteria
  • At least 18 years of age
  • An associate degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized college or university and at least one year experience working in social services or
  • A high school diploma/GED and three years’ experience working in social services
  • Have a Washington State Driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and able to be covered on Alpha Supported Living Services’ automobile insurance plan based upon his/her driving record
  • Background inquiry clearance from an authorized state agency

General Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Program Coordinator assists with overseeing the provision of support for assigned participants. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supervisory tasks and may also provide personal care supports as needed. The
Program Coordinator will interact with program participants and must be familiar with the
Guiding Values issued by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). At all times, the
Program Coordinator will seek to act in accord with the principles and values expressed and uphold the agency mission.

Schedule:

  • PCs are expected to work 1 weekend shift on the schedule. This is a direct support shift. They are also expected to help fill open shifts that fall on their regularly scheduled days.
  • PC’s are expected to work a 40 hour work week
  • PC’s are expected to work a flexible schedule. We may ask them to work a day or shift they don’t normally work. We understand that no one has open availability but some flexibility is preferred.

Position Description:

This position works closely with the Program Supervisor and assists with overseeing the provision of support for agency participants. Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Review program documentation and ensure compliance (IISP, staffing, scheduling, training, etc.) and assist with training and development for all staff
  • Help develop various schedules (cleaning, staffing, training, etc.) and complete scheduled checks and maintain documentation of such (safety, household lists, cleaning, etc.)
  • Provide direct support to participants as needed or requested and monitor assigned vehicle warranties and maintenance

Starting Wage: $25.00

Wage scale is $25.00- $30.60 per hour

Benefits for Full-Time Employees (30 hours or more a week) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) (non-profit version of a 401(k)) with company match, Life Insurance, Tuition Savings Program, and Tuition Reimbursement. Employees working 34 or more hours a week are eligible for PTO accrual.
