SGI Global is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the anticipated Department of State (DOS) Office of Overseas Protective Operations (OPO) program. The Office of Overseas Protective Operations directs, develops, and delivers programs, operational guidance, and resources to sustain effective security forces at U.S. diplomatic missions. Continuing international uncertainties underscore the need to maintain effective security at U.S. diplomatic missions. *Please note, this position is contingent on contract award and government funding*

Job Duties:

The Program Manager shall be responsible for the overall management and performance of the contract for DS/IP/OPO. The mission or role of the PM is to provide direct coordination and support to the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on all contract related matters to ensure success of the ongoing efforts in a timely manner. Areas of advice/coordination/support shall encompass, but are not limited to the following: contract administration, staffing levels, reporting, and administrative matters such as assisting in clearance, approval, records and Letters of Authorization (LOA) processing for overseas-bound contractor personnel to included obtaining Diplomatic and/or Official passports for contractor personnel, training, logistics and communications, The PM or his/her representative shall attend all regularly scheduled meetings dealing with the contract matters, as well as special and unscheduled meetings required be the COR or CO. The PM shall be reachable from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in related field from accredited university (can be substituted for additional years of experience), Masters Degree preferred
• Experience managing large programs, with geographically dispersed team members
• Experience processing personnel for overseas deployments (i.e. visas, insurance, travel, etc.)
• Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to conduct at minimum weekly visits to the primary duty locations of its employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Current DoD Clearance
• Prior experience working on Department of State (DOS) funded government projects
