RMC is hiring a Program/Project Manager to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). Located at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, PA, the NSWC is responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.
This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for project development and tracking;
- Interfacing with engineers associated with business growth plan;
- Oversee and direct program and project initiatives;
- Develop proposal responses, project estimates and prepare status reports;
- Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignment;
- Assist Junior engineers with technical issues concerning assigned systems, software and hardware;
- Perform technical review of engineering design and software changes recommended by other engineers;
- Mentor Junior engineers to assist with system modifications and upgrades;
- Provide management with feedback concerning engineering and design changes proposed.
Requirements
Candidates for this position must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a Program Manager, to include contract and sub-contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, and progress.
Five (5) year of professional experience in managing and implementing RMF to maintain continuous ATOs for United States Navy IS and Platform IT systems.
