Project Coordinator
- (3224184)Project coordinator sought for fast paced research unit addressing health services disparities. Incumbant will participate in a variety of coordination and research tasks to ensure smooth workings of the unit and the daily activities of the Unit chief. Major responsibilities include coordinating administrative communication, including drafting letters of support, biosketches, and emails; and conducting research-related communication, including literature reviews, grant proposal submissions, and PowerPoint presentations for major research conferences.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing direct support to the Unit Chief and Unit activities, including handling all calls and inquiries; scheduling and supporting meetings and appointments; facilitating travel logistics; maintaining supplies; and undertaking regular communication with collaborators and other staff. This position is ideal for a poised recent graduate with an interest in research, writing, healthcare disparities, and behavioral health, who has strong administrative skills, attention to detail and communication abilities.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Skilled writer and communicator.
- Enjoys a fast pace of work; able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, under time pressure.
- Self-starter, able to work well as a member of a team and individually, and to interface with individuals across a wide range of disciplines and experience.
- Ability to work well with technology and willingness to work with new technology.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
