Diverse Building Solutions is a rapidly growing construction compnay located in Wilmington, Ohio. We operate primarily in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Thanks to our exceptional and continued growth, we are looking for a Project Foreman to join our team. The Project Foreman serves as a liaison between management and crew members while having a high level of construction knowledge and practical skill. As Project Foreman your role entails supervising and directing a group of employees and subcontractors, ensuring completion and quality of tasks and projects assigned. A talented Project Foreman focuses on the overall goal not only the task at hand, while creating a good atmosphere and conditions for workers. The Project Foreman will aide in the development of crew members by encouraging training and coaching, but also delegate responsibilities to workers based on their expertise and specialization when necessary. This role is also responsible for coordinating meetings with crew members and management regularly to discuss new developments and project progress. At times, this may require de-escalating disputes and misunderstandings to ensure the team is working toward a common goal. The Project Foreman should maintain a positive disposition and motivate team members to perform at their very best.

Job responsibilities and duties to include:

– Lead crew members along on a given task in a professional manner.
– Ensures that all equipment and facilities needed by workers are made available and are kept in good condition.
– Maintain a high level of tidiness and orderliness in the process of carrying out a job.
– Create working schedules for employees.
– Place orders for needed equipment and supplies.
– Measure strengths and weakness of employees to best allocate labor and conduct performance reviews.
– Praise and reprimand employees as needed.
– Ensure the quality of work meets our standards.
– Keep management updated on project development.
– Make sure work is completed on or before deadlines.
– Coordinate with crew leads on daily tasks and updates.
– Coordinate materials and supplies with Project Manager.
– Ensure safety polices and good practices are followed at all times.

This position may require you to be available during varying hours based on customer needs. Our crews are currently working Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. Schedule is subject to change based on weather, workload or other factors based on business need.

Must be able to pass a drug test, have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
