Cambridge Spa Group (“CSG”) is a private equity-backed, franchisee consolidator within the Massage Envy franchise system. CSG employs over 1,000 people in Texas, California, and Nevada with corporate teams in Austin. The company anticipates 2x growth in the next 3 years driven by robust M&A activity as well as organic performance. The company is led by an experienced senior management team with 20+ years of Massage Envy and franchising experience and a best-in-class investor group.

We are looking to hire a Project Manager/founding member of our PMO function. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, in this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for managing a variety of internal and external projects.
  • Leverage your experience and skills to effectively oversee and coordinate projects with varying degrees of complexity and timelines.
  • Develop projects plans, create timelines, and guide external and internal stakeholders
  • Manage projects related to the platforms and processes we use to provide services to our customers.
  • Have an opportunity to create and improve processes and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

In addition to the tactical project management duties, this is a strategic role for the organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help create and document the company’s PMO processes, systems, and tools, and grow professionally with this new department as the organization grows.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Note that this role will be based in our Austin, TX office with some potential for remote/virtual work as agreed upon with the Vice President of Operations and will require up to 20% travel.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a portfolio of internal and external projects
  • In collaboration with our Operations and Technology team, manage internal projects related to our platforms and systems
  • Monitor timelines and progress of projects to ensure efficient, on-time delivery
  • Assess and address obstacles, issues, or concerns that may impact project deliverables; own any problems you discover and drive forward solutions
  • Collaborate with and effectively communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned projects and create documentation, (Project Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Lessons Learned, Meeting Agendas, Meeting Notes and Action Items, etc.)
  • Analyze project performance and expenses incurred for future cost-saving metrics.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for internal and external constituencies during project planning and implementation phases
  • Manage various tasks and projects as assigned by the VP of Operations, including coordinating the operational calendar and timelines/deliverables of a large, distrusted operations leadership team.

In your first 6 months you will learn about Cambridge Spa Group's business model and operating parameters, and the platforms and systems we use to operate our business. You will establish relationships with company leadership, team members, and vendors, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company and our external partners/vendors.

What will you achieve in 12 months?

Within your first 12 months working at Cambridge Spa Group, you will have become a trusted partner and liaison for our team members, subject matter experts and executives on our systems and establish the long-term processes and platforms utilized within the new PMO function.

Qualifications

  • 2(+) years of demonstrated project management experience in a fast-growing organization
  • Demonstrate skills and ability to understand timeline constraints, task dependencies, and project risks
  • Fluency at developing impactful relationships with partners and colleagues
  • Desire to develop strong working relationships and cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience and expertise with project management software platforms
  • PMP or similar project management certification is required
  • Prior experience working successfully in a business with a distributed/national (multi-location) footprint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
