Spahn & Rose Lumber Co., the 2022 LBM Dealer of the Year, has an opening for the Project Manager at our store in Jesup. This position is responsible for working with contractors on their building projects including designs, estimating material, setting up scheduled deliveries, and assisting throughout the sales, bidding, and ordering process.

Responsibilities:

• Understands the needs of the customers and positions the company to profitably meet mutual needs of customer and company. Provides excellent customer service to stakeholder groups by addressing issues, questions or concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure shipments and deliveries are completed properly and resolve any customer issues in a timely manner and much more.
• Entering basic quote info in ERP system, as well as convert simple quotes to complex sales orders, and process orders thru to invoicing
• Attend and participate in product and skills training classes, events and seminars in order to develop and maintain product and industry knowledge.
• Responds to and maintains positive employer-employee relationships that contribute to satisfactory productivity, motivation and morale. Prevents and resolves problems involving individuals when they arise.
• Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the employee and the company.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, building materials, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of construction costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, principles and techniques.
• Ability to read and have basic comprehension of construction blueprints and plans.
• Must have strong communication, technical, and relationship-building skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and email.
