Position Summary:
The Project Manager plans and directs day-to-day management of this contract through his key management team. Pegasus empowers its Project Manager to decide the best way to achieve contract goals and requirements by allowing him the authority, discretion, and independence to make choices onsite in the areas of planning, allocating resources, scheduling, and overseeing the execution of the contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Direct and control all personnel, services, tasks, and subcontractors and vendors.
  • Interact with and responds to all Government executives regarding this contract and has financial and administrative control responsibilities including expenditures
  • Accepts notices and correspondence
  • Inspects and creates reports
  • Is responsible for day-to-day activities regarding this contract.
  • Interviews and interacts with staff
  • Makes final hiring and dismissal decisions
  • Provides quality control oversite.
  • Manages all locations and maintains the ability to travel to all locations covered under the scope of the contract

Qualifications:
  • Previous or current experience including a minimum of five (5) years of recent (within the past seven (7) years) successful experience in contract management and supervision for buildings and facilities of 700,000 square feet
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is a plus

Experience:
  • Previous or current experience includes operating, maintaining, and repairing similar multiple facilities, systems, and equipment in remote or distant locations for multi-storied and multi-tenant facilities.
  • Serving and providing scheduled and unscheduled operations, maintenance, and repair of facilities, systems and equipment as required in Fort Worth and West, TX some of which are/were designated “Historic”.
  • Scheduling operations, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment
  • Managing a team of tradesmen including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) technicians and mechanics, electricians, Chief Mechanics, General Maintenance Workers (GMW)
  • The knowledge and experience to supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of phased electrical systems, building automation systems (BAS), Boilers, Chillers, air handling (AHU) in commercial buildings, fire protection and life safety systems and equipment
  • Knowledge and experience with computerized maintenance and management system (NCMMS), custodial services, and grounds maintenance services.

Communication Skills:
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers, and staff members.
  • Must have the ability to write reports.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Reasoning Ability:
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, fellow employees, and customers.

Location(s):
  • Fritz Lanham Federal Building, Fort Worth, TX as well as cities located in West Texas including:
    • San Angelo
    • Midland
    • Lubbock
    • Amarillo
