Furthermore, the person in this position will support the Head of DS NA:
They interact with functional groups within the GDS organization to communicate and clarify customer requirements.
As Project Manager will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems to ensure compatibility with end user needs and business requirements in a global IT environment.
They will document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. If needed the GDS Core Diversified Project Manager will create and coordinate training in order to ensure optimization of system usage as well as manage product/program roll outs including cost control, change management, and resource management.
They will establish policies, processes, and best practices designed to ensure consistently high service levels of performance
They have overall responsibility for establishing, managing and maintaining strategic relationships with customers in one or more business segments.

The person in this position will ensure Project Management activities for assigned local GDS projects and for the local adoption and deployments of global GDS initiatives, related to Staff and Services Applications and IT Infrastructures (IT&S), in scope within North America.
Furthermore, the person in this position will support the Head of DS NA:
- to prepare contents for top management meetings
- to analyze and spread the new GDS procedures
- to organize and manage the DS NA documentation
- to organize DS NA events
They interact with functional groups within the GDS organization to communicate and clarify customer requirements.
May participate in contract negotiation and administration.
They will collaborate and report to the Head Staff & Services NA.

- Develop detailed project plans including cost, resource and project management
- Identify, investigate, analyze, and recommend business processes, procedures and work practices as it relates to GDS using industry standard methodologies
- Create and communicate end-user requirements and functional specifications to Developers/programmers
- Works with the Head Staff & Services NA to deliver projects in line with business objectives
- Prepare and explain IT contents for Coordination and staff meetings at country level and GDS level
- Analyze, organize and spread to GDS people GDS Global Procedures
- Analyze, Write and spread to GDS people the local DS NA procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or similar preparation related field
- Ability to prepare and present high level reports for top management and develop action plans
- Demonstrate skills in project management, communication, organization, and prioritization. Ability to manage time efficiently and work with little supervision.
- Work effectively either independently or as a member of a geographically dispersed in different countries, with different cultures, team on assigned projects.
- Experience developing communication plans for projects, maintenance activities and system related information.
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills required.
