JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will be responsible for managing custom product projects throughout the entire process from order to shipment. The Project Manager will use practical project management methodologies to assist with the creation and delivery of custom projects on time.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Success: Execute and manage all product projects to position Shryne Group as the market leader with a world-class customized product offering. Focusing on delivery of goods on time and in full per stakeholder requirements.

  • Manage product projects from opportunity until delivery of finished goods
  • Clear, complete, and timely communication with all project stakeholders to deliver projects on time and in full
  • Problem-solving management: Prevent and solve issues, understand, and mitigate problems with other departments
  • Lead project planning, tracking of milestones, and risk management based on accomplishing the required delivery date
  • Weekly and adhoc communication of project progress to stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between all cross functional departments for the GTM process
  • Project and time management: Ensure project deliverables and required delivery dates are accurate and achievable, plan and audit all tasks and milestones, prioritize tasks and adapt as needed based upon changing priorities, and responsive to requests and accountable for actions.
  • Organize and track details across a wide range of projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding and continuous improvement of all project management processes and timelines, utilizing a standardized supply chain approach to project management.
  • Prioritization of projects and escalate when necessary
  • Identify the prevention and resolution of problems/delays and communicate escalations
  • Sense of urgency and ownership of the projects and deliverables

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge in supply chain, procurement, quality, inventory planning, finance, and logistics
  • Established project management skills
  • Problem-solving and resourcefulness
  • Customer focused/service oriented
  • Detail oriented and a high level of organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Agility: ability to adapt to rapid pace and high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge in project management tools, including Process Flows, SOP’s, Gantt Chats, Asana, or other
  • Knowledge in methods and tools to improve performance and productivity such as 6 Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Process mapping),
  • Product life-cycle management
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of Project Management experience
  • PMP- Project Manager Professional or equivalent certification is preferred
