Job Purpose

This position is responsible for managing the site construction of synthetic tracks in the Southeast. Multiple state travel is required to manage subcontractors, project costs, and track installations. Primary goal is to always deliver projects at or below estimated cost.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop complete understanding of the scope, goals, and timeline of each project and communicate on a regular basis with the project team
• Determine and coordinate required workforce, materials, and equipment to complete projects in accordance with project schedule
• Ensure all sites are safe and following OSHA regulations
• Maintain an honest and professional relationship with the owners of all projects assigned
• Attend preconstruction and project meetings
• Perform job inspections before, during, and after project
• Maintain an open line of communication with all members of project team
• Coordinate, schedule, asphalt inspections and observe flood tests. When possible, be on site during placement of top course of asphalt
• Make decisions to prevent project delays
• Be available when crews are working
• Assist with identifying and resolving issues and conflicts with the production team
• Assist with project performance reviews and research budget variances
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Develop and abide by required policies and procedures
• Research and develop improved ways to perform installs
• Offseason – Support estimating team with take-off and cost estimate sheet
• Offseason – Evaluate project estimate variances and provide feedback to sales team
• Offseason – Develop and update production procedures

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma/GED required
• Experience: 5+ years’ experience track installation
• Possess valid driver’s license free of any major infractions
• Ability to communicate effectively with project owners, architects, and contractors
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
• Confidence to manage projects from start to finish and make decisions as required
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to contribute to the success of team
