The role you’ll contribute:

The provider recruitment coordinator is responsible for supporting AdventHealth Medical Group to attract highly qualified Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) to practice in the AdventHealth Great Lakes Region service area. Working closely with the Director of Provider Recruitment, Directors of Clinical Operations and provider onboarding liaison, the provider recruitment coordinator will assist with sourcing qualified candidates, collecting applicant data and coordinating recruitment activities.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Post and maintain job opportunities on various recruitment job boards
  • Outreach to residency programs both within the AdventHealth/UCM systems, and outside of the system
  • Source qualified candidates through various recruitment database and outreach methods
  • Manage department applicant tracking system and create applicant data reports
  • Coordinate telephone interviews and site visits with potential candidates and appropriate hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with Director of Provider Recruitment to schedule and create itineraries for on-site interview visits
  • Collect receipts from recruits after site visit and arrange for reimbursement of travel expenses with accounts payable.
  • Gather pre-credentialing information from newly signed providers.
  • Provide a warm hand-off between signed provider and medical group physician liaison to start the onboarding and credentialing processes.
  • Additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 1-3 years of healthcare recruitment or sourcing experience
  • High school diploma

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • ATS Database
    • Human Resource Experience
