DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: Purchasing Agent
- Location: Southeast Houston
- Pay: $25-28/hour
- Hours: 8-5
- Duration: Temp-to-hire
- Description of Duties: We are currently assisting one of our premier clients with a search for a Purchasing Agent. This position will consist of buying and/or approving the acquisition of goods or services needed for a project: Getting quotes for sales staff. Completing sales purchases, including equipment, machines, goods and services for companies. Keeping abreast of changes affecting both the supply of, and demand for, needed products and materials. Have a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased. Placing orders and ensuring product is shipped according to deadlines. Staying within project budget.
- Requirements: QuickBooks experience – a plus. Job costing experience preferred.
