Purchasing Assistant Job at Advance Management Corp
We are a construction company seeking a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing construction materials and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the purchase of construction materials and equipment
- Maintain and update vendor database
- Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers
- Communicate with project managers to ensure materials are on-site as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing construction materials
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Experience with inventory management
- Familiarity with construction industry and materials
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
