QA Infection Prevention Nurse
As our full time Quality Assurance/Infection Prevention Nurse, this individual is responsible to develop, implement and maintain our infection control program in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines. Primary objective is to ensure that the facility is in compliance with current CDC, OSHA, DPH and other local regulations concerning infection control or standard/universal precautions.
Duties include evaluating clinical data to ensure the appropriate interventions, when identified as needed, are taken in a timely manner and that follow up is complete and timely. You will also create, edit, evaluate policies and procedures for effective program operation. As well as educate and provide training and in-services for all staff regarding quality assurance, infection control and prevention guidelines.
Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Must have a Bachelor’s degree along with a MA RN License in good standing. Prior experience in QA and Infection Prevention is preferred, along with working in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
