Primary Responsibilities:

• Chosen candidates must have the following experience:
• 7 yrs of QA experience, out of which 3 years of experience as the Test Lead
• Must be able to Host/Facilitate the following meetings:
• Requirements review (participant, not hosting)
• Test scenario review
• Test Case review
• Issue review
• Testing status

• Create and maintain a Testing Schedule
• Assign tasks to testers (i.e., test case writing, test case peer review, test execution) and help them reach completion targets with quality work
• Create functional and regression test suites
• Ensure defects are written correctly
• Writing Test Plans
• Writing Test Summary
• Coordinate test data creation
• Coordinate test accounts required for testing
• Conducts/facilitates 'lessons learned' meetings
• Conducts project debriefing for the entire testing department

• Must have the necessary experience and ability to deliver the following:
• Work on multiple efforts simultaneously
• Being flexible, resourceful
• Able to work from written/verbal instructions, not just from test cases
• Being organized - manage/follow-through on all requests made of them without being reminded
• Works well independently and as part of the team
• Read, understand, and analyze requirements
• Create test scenarios from requirements (that anyone else can interpret and write tests from)
• Create test cases from scenarios (that anyone else can understand/execute)
• Utilization of:
• Modularized test cases
• Shared Steps (calls to other tests)
• Data driven test cases
• Parameters
• Following client established standards for test case writing

• Create test suites ensuring adequate testing coverage
• Create/identify test data
• Execute tests
• Written by self
• Written by others
• Within estimated completion time frame

• Communicate with team members as well as App Mangers
• Oral
• Understand verbal instructions/details
• Speaks English and is easily understood

• Provides understandable verbal instructions in English

• Read requirements and provide a Random Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate (50% +/-)
• Provide a refined estimate based on scenarios (goal is to complete effort within 10%)
• Provide hours and number of days for test case writing and each test run.

• Write bugs with adequate information for the AppDev Manager and Developer to work from
• Lead defect review meetings
• At project's end ensures all defects are closed or deferred

• Produce test status reports
• Candidate must be competent with the following:
• Excel- Basic use and ability to edit existing formulas with guidance
• MS Word
• PowerPoint (basics)

Qualifications: (A combination of any of these would work ...)

• Experienced in the following:
• Writing/editing/executing automated tests (not necessarily the framework, but the tests dealing with the application's pages (Page Object Model)
• Selenium
• Playwright

• Zephyr Scale
• Monday.com
• Jira
• Knowledge of using Jira functionality to create stories/requirements from Confluence

• Confluence
• Microsoft Teams
• OneNote
• Must be able to follow and adhere to company-specific standards and guidelines for writing test scenarios, test cases, test execution, and more

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is a 'must have'.
