Quality Assurance Manager - Manufacturing
The Quality Assurance Manager leads the efforts of the quality team. Duties include planning, organizing, training, coaching, compliance with various customers, company, government requirements and guidelines.

The Quality Assurance Manager leads the efforts of the quality team. Duties include planning, organizing, training, coaching, compliance with various customers, company, government requirements and guidelines.
Job Duties:
- Manage Plant Non-Conformance System
- Review process for dispositioning process non-conformances and provide trend data to production
- Food Safety
- Lead team efforts centered around programs to ensure food safety
- Develops plant training, conducts internal inspections and acts as a point of contact with outside agencies on the topic
- Ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support department teams. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Customer Requirements
- Works with leaders in identifying and communicating customer requirements
- Develops PCP’s to insure customer requirements are met
- Manage Customer Complaints Process
- Governmental Regulations
- Be knowledgeable of various government regulations, auditorial or legal requirements that must be complied with (i.e. AIB, USDA, FDA, IMS, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Three years previous experience managing quality at a manufacturing plant preferred
- Prior background in food and/or packaging industry preferred, but not required.
- Manufacturing experience required.
