Lab Auditor- MIDNIGHTS

Our fast-growing, manufacturing company is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Lab Auditor. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. Mandatory Qualifications/Experience/Skill & Abilities:

• This is a Final Inspector position; pay will commensurate with experience
• Good attendance is essential
• Must be able to efficiently work with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) The predominate program used is Excel.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and have the desire to learn
• Must be proficient with basic measuring equipment (Calipers, micrometers, digital/dial indicators, optical comparators and other gages commonly used in the Fastener Manufacturing process.
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must be able to read basic blueprints

Preferred Experience:

• Related experience in Quality Inspection, Fastener Manufacturing and testing would be preferred
• Experience with Ford, GM and FCA related Fastener specifications and requirements
• Experience with Gage Management software (Pro-gage, Gage Track) and/or Minitab statistical software
• Experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gage R&Rs and sources of gage variation (Bias, Stability, Discrimination, Accuracy, etc.)

Job responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Rake parts per work instruction
• Audit parts to verify and meet customer requirements
• Perform other duties as required.
• Support Fastener Inspection and Testing
• Conduct Dimensional, Metallurgical and Performance related testing as part of the final inspection process
