QUALITY CONTROL WITH SOME CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT EXPERIENCE

Career Recruiting Specialists is partners with the 4th largest tissue/paper mill in the world. This location is located in Ashland, VA. We are seeking and experienced Quality Control Coordinator. Must of two years of experience in the field of quality control and some continuous improvement. It is certainly a plus if you have paper mill experience. Responsibilities

• Support the quality assurance processes & control, you will work closely and collaboration production management (i.e: quality of raw materials and finished products, non-conformities management & trial management)
• Act as acentral collaborator within site and support services by developing technical knowledge of our products and processes.
• Contribute to improving the quality of processes and products
• Work with tech service in the development of new products
• Responsible internal and external audits, etc.
• Ensure the implementation of performance gages, and their monitoring.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (internal and external) with managers and provide advise as necessary

Requirements:

• Demonstrate accuracy and agility.
• Demonstrate good organization skills
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Show effective communication skills

Education:

Technical or bachelor's degree in engineering, chemical process, operations, or any other related field.

• Possess more than 2 years of experience in the field of continuous improvement and quality - in a manufacturing environment. (Pulp & Paper Industry experience is strongly preferred)
• The agility needed to work with different technological tools

Pay: $65,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
