We are looking for a QC Inspector with previous experience working for an aerospace, defense or aviation industry .

• This is a Temp to Perm position with great benefits and stability.
• Schedule is Monday to Friday ( 8am to 5 pm), offering overtime

$18.00- $22.00 an hour (offering the higher rate to candidates who has the experience in the industry)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Quality Control

· Verification of purchased product, i.e. incoming and outgoing

· Verification of purchased processes, i.e. in-process material

· Review of at-risk products for conformity

· Verification of proper documentation provided

Ideally the candidate is a person experienced in mechanical inspections, familiar with GD&T, tools used for these inspections including optical comparators and CMMs and familiar with paperwork traceability used in the Aviation, Space, and Defense Industries.

For instance we receive a paperwork package from a distributor; based on our PO’s requirements to suppliers and customers’ requirements to us, the inspector will have to identify the paperwork needed before releasing the parts e.g. Certificate of Compliance (CC) from the distributor, CC from the manufacturer, Plating Certificates, Heat Treatment Certificates etc. and the link among all these documents (that is the traceability part).

REQUIREMENTS: Quality Control

· Experienced in devices mechanical inspections

· Experience checking incoming parts

· Familiar with paperwork traceability used in the Aviation, Space, and Defense Industries…

· Good experience writing First Articles

· Experience doing inspection with instruments like calipers, micrometers, gages to be used especially on mechanical parts.

· Experience with GD&T, blueprints reading, military and commercial specs

· Experience or familiarity with how to use instruments like optical comparators, CMM etc.

· FA files required are like FA’s sheets in AS9102 standard (First Article Inspections for Aviation)
